Promoting Competitiveness Through Innovation
The Business Software Alliance (BSA), the Federation of Korean Information Industries (FKII) and the Korea Forum of Chief Information Officers (CIO Forum) held the Asia Innovation Forum 2007 in Seoul, Korea on April 10. It reached out to industry leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers and academics, this was an open dialogue that brought together renowned international and regional personalities to discuss strategies to promote innovation in the software and broader IT industry. It also looked at best practices in the partnership between the public and private sectors in bringing about sustained economic growth through innovation.

The Business Software Alliance (www.bsa.org) has successfully held two Regional Innovation Forums in November 2005 in Putrajaya, Malaysia, and May 2006 in Bangkok, Thailand. These events brought together high-level government officials and speakers from Asia, Europe and United States.
